What is yoga & mindfulness? How can we integrate it into our everday lives? Into our classrooms? This 8 week course covers mindfulness, breathing, somatics/mindful movement and how to incorporate these skills into their regular routine. Each class is 30 minutes long, once per week.

Grade 3-8
The first step is connection. How can yoga & mindfulness build connections? This 8 week course covers mindfulness, breathing and mindful movement. Working together with the students we develop a daily mindfulness practice, we learn how to listen to our body and what to do when we feel like our mind is running away with us. Each 45 minute class covers a different topic and builds upon the last. Special take home at end of course.

Highschool
How can I gain control of my emotions? Get more focus? Connect with others? Sleep better?Mindfulness does not only mean meditation. For 8 weeks we will work together to develop a daily mindfulness practice that will carry over from school to home. Students will connect with themselves and their classmates as we explore meditation, breathing and somatic movement. Each 60 minute class will cover a different topic, the last week we integrate it all and make commitments to ourselves and to each other.
